UAOTV 25th ANNIVERSARY GALA
Urban American Outdoors TV 25th Anniversary Gala and Conference Workshop will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in Kansas City, Missouri..
The Workshop held from 9am – 3:30 pm at Loews Kansas City Hotel. Located in the heart of Downtown Kansas City, Loews Kansas City Hotel is home to 800 guestrooms and suites, The Stilwell restaurant, lively lobby bar, Bar Stilwell, Horsefeather Social, open seasonally, indoor lap pool and 60,000 square feet of meeting and event space, which connects directly to the Kansas City Convention Center by a connector bridge. The hotel is also in walking distance to key attractions and other destination landmarks like the Kansas City Power & Light District, T-Mobile Center, KC Streetcar and the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
The Reception starting at 6pm at Buck O’Neil Education and Research Center. The Negro League Baseball Museum (NLBM) broke ground in early 2006 on a $15 million historical preservation and expansion project to restore the Paseo YMCA and convert the national landmark into the John “Buck” O’Neil Education and Research Center.
A fundraising event for SODAS Life will take place during this event. The proceeds will support our mission to improving the quality of life in our community by connecting the youth to nature.

et & Greet will be at the Negro League Baseball Museum from 5 pm – 8 pm. Enjoy networking with like-minded outdoor enthusiasts, advocates, and friends.
We will also air the documentary film, A Legacy Lost and Found: Segregation in Recreation by Dr. Nancy J. Dawson.
