About the event

Urban American Outdoors is excited to host our Urban Kids Fishing Derby at Golden Pond Visitor Center on Saturday, July 27, 2024. This event is from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm and it’s FREE. 75 participants maximum. You can pre-register for this event or at the location.

What Do I Need To Bring?

We recommend that you bring your own fishing rod, bucket or stringer, lawn chair, and bait. We will provide a loaner fishing rod for those families in need (first come, first serve — limited fishing rods available).
