Is the Urban Kids Fishing Derby for children who already know how to fish and have their own equipment, or is this an introductory format? I don’t know anything about fishing, but my daughter is always asking about it so I’d love to bring her. Thanks.

  3. Had a ball Sat the 9th in Litha Spring caught 6 fish. Thanks.

I took my grandson Jontae Oliver- 5 years old fishing for the first time at Sweetwater Park with Urban Kids, and we both just LOVED IT. He did not catch a fish, however he had one so big on his line that it snapped the line and the expression on his face was PRICELESS. Thank you URBAN KIDS FISH.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us. This is exactly why we created the fishing derby, so that families can create memorable experiences outdoors. We are so happy that you brought Jontae to our Urban Kids Fishing Derby Atlanta. If you took any photos or videos please share them with us via our social media pages and use the hashtag #urbankidsfish. We hope to see you and your grandson next year.

Thanks for providing a great outlet for our children to come out and learn a new skill. How do you pick the cities to attend? I noticed you were in Atlanta, Ga recently. It would be great if you could come and visit a couple more cities in Georgia, Columbus and Savannah. How could we set this up? Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Will your organization be traveling to Texas anytime soon?
