SODAS LIFE means Saving Our Daughters & Sons Lives. Promoting healthy lifestyles through outdoor recreation, conservation and environmental education initiatives that engage the youth of America.
SODAS LIFE INC, is a nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes, specifically to educate a diverse, underserved and underrepresented youth and young adults in an effort to develop and foster enthusiastic and responsible preservation, conservation and environmental skills to develop social stewards, advocates and create healthy lifestyles. We do mentoring, training, workforce development, and a clearing house for information about our public lands, career, and job opportunities. We also document and capture through digital storytelling historical, cultural, and educational backgrounds. We further our purposes under this program by conducting the following.
SODAS outdoor activities, conservation and environmental education initiatives engage children from urban and rural communities and exposes them to healthy living and active lifestyles in order to build an overall healthy and environmentally conscious society. We believe that the youth, young adults and families from diverse backgrounds can greatly benefit from the career opportunities presented within the state and federal land management sectors, and the life changing activities presented.
OUTREACH
SODAS LIFE INC furthers its community education and outreach efforts by conducting a number of activities that engage future leaders in the outdoors. Through our efforts we have continued the work of preparing a culturally diverse group of young leaders who will be ready to responsibly oversee the environment.
